As Ben said you might want to upgrade your article. The pontoon boats are great fun, there are some good sec hand party pontoons out their so look around they are a bit dearer then $30,000 you will pick up a good buy between $35,000 & $40,000 year models 2005 up (party hard, have fun just be play safe when your on the water)

You may want to update this article. New pontoons come with as much as 225 HP or more. New triple pontoons allow these boats to go over 50 mph.

Pontoons are great for anything but rough water. We use our for fishing, wakeboarding, skiing, kneeboarding, hanging out with friend, taking the dog to islands to run free and so much more.

man I love pontoon boats, I dont have enough money to buy my own but me and a group of friends get together and rent one from the local marina, drink, fish, party, goodtime$

From personal experience I am very impressed with how stabile my inflatable pontoon boat is for fishing. It is only 14 feet long but I am able to stand upright with very little movement. I have done this in a traditional boat and the only reason I didn’t fall in is that my father grabbed me (hey I was 10 years old!).

Anyway, I cannot say enough good things about these boats for fishing anyway.
